Rapid growth in start-ups: Flourishing in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities

The Start- up ecosystem has changed tremendously across India. Few years back metro cities such as Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore & Hyderabad were considered as Start up hubs. But in recent years we have seen a rapid growth in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities of India. The start ups and the investors together have released the potential which is prevalent in these cities. Jaipur, Kanpur, Lucknow, Chandigarh, Bhopal and Indore has now become the center of attraction for the new start up hubs. The revival of start-ups across India has led to plethora of events happening with people taking part in it with great enthusiasm. With the growing trend even the communities and groups are being formed to help start ups flourish. The investors across the world are eyeing these cities and are planning to develop start ups. These new cities have tremendously good storyline pitches therefore leading to more start ups into IT & Technology. Seeing the advancements in the field of IT and Technology the entrepreneurs are ready to invest and provide a range of infrastructural support. Likewise to extend its operations Amity has decided to open another Incubator at Amity University, Lucknow Campus. They are going beyond the conventional norms and are ready to invest in physical spaces & infrastructure. Even they are assisting with administration & legal, advisory & mentoring support. Beyond that; transfer assistance and fund raising services are also a part of their assistance. It’s been quite a few weeks when I met an investor based out of London. It was very interesting to know that he is focusing only on these new start up cities. I would gladly share the info that few weeks back there was a start up meet organized in Lucknow which was jointly organized by Yourstory.com and Club Cafebiz. The enthusiastic audience of men and women shared their wonderful and aspiring stories. Therefore concluding the article I would say that the life of an Entrepreneur is not easy at all and especially that of a start up business venture. They had to deal with struggles, they have to take some risks but at the end if the day it will be worth the efforts. Luck is another factor which is important for an Entrepreneur and when both go hand in hand you are all set to go. For an Entrepreneur everyday is a new day and with each day comes a new opportunity. No matter what the situation is he/she knows how to turn the tables on their side. The life of an entrepreneur is not easy but is worth it 😊
